Wacoal Europe sponsored the first ever Intimate Ball at the recent MODA fashion show which is held in Birmingham twice yearly. The Intimate Ball was held in aid of the inspiring breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! and the event raised a whopping £27,000 for the charity.
BBC news reporter Steph McGovern hosted the event as well as a silent auction which was also attended by CoppaFeel! founder Kris Hallenga. Kris and her sister Maren set up the charity to change the way people view breast cancer after Kris was diagnosed in 2009. They hope to encourage both women and men to check their breasts regularly.
