First things first: Elomi sizing

Good news: Elomi keeps things simple with UK band and cup sizing. Bras come in band sizes 32 to 48 and cup sizes D to KK, with many styles going up to a K cup. And to finish the look, matching briefs come in sizes S to 4XL.

Australian and New Zealand cup sizes are the same as UK sizes.

The five-second fit check (well, five steps!)

Pop your new bra on, stand in front of the mirror and run through these five quick checks.

Here's what a good fit looks like (and what it doesn't!) 👇

1. Centre front

The centre front is where the two cups join. It should sit flat and snug against your breastbone, with no digging in.

2. Underband

Your band does most of the hard work, so it should sit firmly and level all the way round. You should be able to slide two fingers under it, but not pull it more than two inches away from your body.

3. Cups

Your cups should hold you beautifully, with no spilling over the top and no gaping at the sides.

4. Straps

Straps should feel comfy and secure. If you can fit more than two fingers underneath, give them a little tighten.

5. Underwire

The wires should sit comfortably under your bust and lie flat against your chest. No poking allowed!

Quick fit fixes

• Band riding up at the back? Your back size is too big, so try a smaller band.
• Band digging in? Try loosening it, or go up a back size.
• Spilling over the cups? Go up a cup size.
• Loose fabric in the cups, even though your bust is fully enclosed? Go down a cup size.
• Straps digging in or leaving marks? Loosen them.
• Wires sitting away from your chest or digging in at the sides? The cups are too small, so go up a cup size.
